Mountain Lumber Company is nationally recognized as a leader in the reclaimed antique and custom wide plank wood flooring industry. This position will assist in the manufacturing and production process of reclaimed and custom wide plank flooring, wall cladding and other architectural wood details to homeowners and retailers.

This is low-intensity manufacturing, think a warehouse setting making cool products, not a lumber mill by any means.

Essential Duties

• Have a good attitude, we like what we do

• Work well with others, expect to be cross-trained and see bullet 1

• Have a willingness to learn…most of our managers started out on the shop floor…we prefer to hire great people then promote from within…we can teach you what we do!

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• 2-3 years prior manufacturing or mechanical experience is great, but not required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Must pass drug screening

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Adherence to all safety instructions

Working Environment

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts

• Noise level is low to moderate, but we do use saws, ear and eye protection are provided

Expect to be trained on multiple tasks (e.g. machine operator, forklift operation, wood panel assembly etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Rate: Starting at $15 per hour
